Gramercy Christian waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They managed a 40-34 win over the Pamlico Christian Academy Mariners. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Mariners back in November of 2024, they had to take a 50-34 defeat.

Leading Gramercy Christian to victory were Cate Wellspeak and Kinley Butler. Wellspeak posted 12 points, while Butler had 14 points and six rebounds. Mariah Diaz was another key player, putting up three points along with 11 boards and four blocks.

Gramercy Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in five consecutive games.

Pamlico Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Dannielle Palagyi, who put up nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Allee Jones, who posted eight points.

Gramercy Christian's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.5 points per game. As for Pamlico Christian Academy, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-7.

Gramercy Christian will take on Jacksonville Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Jacksonville Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50 points per game this season. As for Pamlico Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 60-15 win against Unity Christian Academy on the 9th.
