Fans got a thrill when Casey Nichols and Conner Stone connected against Mullen. The connection was good for 80 yards, the longest such play in 5A Super 6 this season.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Columbine beat Bear Creek 31-21. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Rebels.
Arapahoe's dynamic duo of Gabe Peterson and Kevin Dement proved to be unstoppable against Chatfield, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Peterson threw for 300 yards and 4 touchdowns and Dement had 135 yards receiving. Ethan Brunhofer helped Arapahoe's passing attack out by catching 7 balls for 89 yards.
