Northern Guilford extended their home winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Leena McField. The Northern Guilford Nighthawks blew past the Western Guilford Hornets 64-28 on Monday thanks in part to McField, who went 10-for-19 on her way to 25 points in addition to six boards and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Northern Guilford's points.

Malena DeLisa was another key player, going 5-for-7 to rack up 12 points and four steals. What's more, she also posted a 71% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in November of 2024.

Western Guilford lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jainya Williams, who posted six points. Another player making a difference was Reese Miga, who put up five points and five rebounds.

Northern Guilford is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Western Guilford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-19 record this season.

Northern Guilford has already played their next game, a 50-48 win against Ragsdale on the 18th. Western Guilford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
