Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Francis). Everything went their way against the Christian Brothers Falcons on Saturday as they made off with a 9-2 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Troubadours as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Kylee Garrett, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Alexis McFarland also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

St. Francis' victory bumped their record up to 2-10. As for Christian Brothers, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

St. Francis will look to defend their home field on Monday against Granite Bay at 5:00 p.m. As for Christian Brothers, they are taking a road trip to face off against Vista del Lago at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
