Meanwhile, Big Spring played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Lake View, falling 56-34. The Steers have struggled against the Chiefs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Levelland's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-17. As for Big Spring, their loss dropped their record down to 9-17.

Levelland took their win against Big Spring when the teams last played on January 14th by a conclusive 59-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Levelland since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
