Recap: South Pasadena Tigers vs. Muir Mustangs
The South Pasadena Tigers won the last time they faced the Muir Mustangs, and things went their way on Saturday too. South Pasadena walked away with a 66-54 victory over Muir.
Russell Williams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of South Pasadena's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Derek Peterson, who scored 14 points along with 5 assists.
South Pasadena's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Muir, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Pasadena will take on Franklin at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Muir, they will be playing at home against Burbank at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Burbank is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
