Basketball Recap: Argyle Drops Highest Score of Season Against Black Hawk

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Argyle). They blew past the Black Hawk Warriors, posting a 78-43 win. Given the Orioles' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 197th, while the Warriors are ranked 469th), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Argyle is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.9 points per game. As for Black Hawk, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-17.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Argyle has already played their next contest (against Benton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Black Hawk has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Monticello.
