Basketball Recap: Cabrillo Skates Past Millikan with Ease

After losing to Millikan the last time they met, Cabrillo decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cabrillo Jaguars blew past the Millikan Rams, posting a 57-25 victory.

Cabrillo had a senior duo take command as Mason Johnson dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 boards and Lincoln Dean went 6 for 11 on his way to 20 points and five assists. Johnson is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season.

Despite the loss, Millikan still got an impressive performance from Joseph Wicker, who went 5 of 12 en route to 12 points and six boards.

Cabrillo is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.2 points per game. As for Millikan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-12.
