Basketball Recap: Shenandoah Extends Winning Streak to Four

Shenandoah entered their tilt with Clarinda on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 42-37 W against the Cardinals. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 65-49 loss the last time these two teams met.

Shenandoah's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Clarinda, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, Shenandoah will be home for the holidays to greet St. Albert at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will be up against the Falcons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Clarinda will take on Treynor in a holiday battle on Thursday.
