Basketball Game Preview: Northern Cambria Colts vs. Cambria Heights Highlanders

The Northern Cambria Colts will head out on the road to face off against the Cambria Heights Highlanders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Northern Cambria is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Conemaugh Township just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They lost to the Indians at home by a 57-40 margin.

Meanwhile, Cambria Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 56-29 defeat at the hands of Homer-Center.

Northern Cambria's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5. As for Cambria Heights, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14.

Northern Cambria and Cambria Heights were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but Northern Cambria came up empty-handed after a 40-39 loss. Can Northern Cambria avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
