There's no place like home for Eastbrook, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Southern Wells Raiders on Thursday as they made off with a 15-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won eight in a row.

Olivia Legg was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that she has snagged this season.

In other batting news, Gracie Elliott was incredible, firing off two home runs, four runs, and five RBI while going 4-for-4. That's the most home runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Braelee McNutt, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI.

Eastbrook always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .606. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Eastbrook now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Southern Wells, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Coming up, Eastbrook will face off against Northfield at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Southern Wells, they will take on Wabash at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
