Softball Recap: Columbus Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Columbus finally came back down to earth on Friday. They came up short against the Warren Central Vikings, falling 11-0. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost three in a row.

Columbus' defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Warren Central, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-7.

While Columbus had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
