Basketball Recap: Rosehill Christian's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Buna, Rosehill Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Kirbyville Wildcats by a score of 43-33. The win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Lauren Peart was the offensive standout of the matchup as she posted 19 points. Mya Johnson was another key player, putting up eight points.

Rosehill Christian now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Kirbyville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Rosehill Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 42-36 victory against Evadale on the 6th. As for Kirbyville, they will head out to face off against Anahuac at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Wildcats their first taste of in-conference action this season.
