Soccer Game Preview: Danville vs. St. Joseph-Ogden

The Danville Vikings are taking a road trip to challenge the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

St. Joseph-Ogden will be up against a hot Danville team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Vikings' defense stepped up to hand Oakwood/Catlin a 6-0 shutout on Saturday. Give Danville's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph-Ogden made easy work of Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Westville on Saturday and carried off a 9-0 win. The result was nothing new for St. Joseph-Ogden, who have now won 13 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.
