Volleyball Recap: Pine Hill Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Pine Hill and Gateway Christian squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Pine Hill had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to Gateway Christian. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Pine Hill has suffered since October 9th.

Takoa Sarver paced Pine Hill's offense, picking up six kills. Sarver got some help from Chenille Martinez and her nine assists. Tyshanna Chee controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Pine Hill's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Gateway Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Pine Hill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Roy/Mosquero on the 14th. As for Gateway Christian, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Quemado on the 13th.
