Friday just wasn't the day for South Range's offense. They were dealt a 34-0 loss at the hands of the Poland Seminary Bulldogs on Friday. The Raiders' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Poland Seminary found their leader in sophomore David Xipolitas, who threw for 187 yards and three touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 84 yards and one TD on only six carries.

South Range's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Poland Seminary, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Coming up, South Range will be playing at home against Girard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders will need to watch out since the Indians have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Poland Seminary, they will head out on the road to challenge McKinley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Red Dragons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.33 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
