Basketball Recap: Newark Tech Comes Up Short

Newark Tech suffered their closest defeat since December 16, 2023 on Thursday. They fell just short of the Bard Early College Raptors by a score of 39-36.

Newark Tech's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bard Early College, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Newark Tech wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 75-41 win against West Side on the 19th. As for Bard Early College, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Weequahic at 7:30 p.m. on January 20, 2025.
