There's no place like home for Mineral Point, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They never let the Boscobel Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Pointers, who have now won six games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Mineral Point is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for Boscobel, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Mineral Point didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Cuba City on the 6th. As for Boscobel, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 19-1 loss against Hillsboro on the 6th.
