Soccer Recap: Abbeville Comes Up Short

After soaring to 20 goals the game before, Abbeville was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They lost 5-0 to the GREEN Upstate Owls. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against GREEN Upstate this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 back in March.

Abbeville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for GREEN Upstate, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Abbeville will be playing in front of their home fans against Crescent at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Abbeville are facing Crescent at the right time seeing as Crescent are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for GREEN Upstate, they will head out to square off against Greer Middle College at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
