The Byron Nelson Bobcat and the Southlake Carroll Dragons (ranked 55 and 70 in the MaxPreps national rankings respectively) squared off in a high-profile game. Byron Nelson strolled past Southlake Carroll with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 34-17. The win was just business as usual for Byron Nelson, who after nine games remain undefeated this season.
Despite the defeat, Southlake Carroll had strong showings from Graham Knowles, who rushed for 30 yards and a touchdown, and Jack Van Dorselaer, who picked up 62 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Fossil Ridge will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 320th, while Southlake Carroll is ranked seventh).
