Basketball Recap: East Brunswick Takes a Loss

East Brunswick lost against St. Thomas Aquinas back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The East Brunswick Bears had to suffer through a 91-41 loss at the hands of the St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 277th, while the Trojans are ranked 37th).

East Brunswick's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-13. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3.

East Brunswick will take on South Brunswick at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Thomas Aquinas has already played their next match (against North Plainfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
