Soccer Game Preview: Cascade vs. Manson

The Cascade Kodiaks are taking a road trip to challenge the Manson Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cascade is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.

Cascade is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past Omak 6-1 on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Manson didn't have quite enough to beat Okanogan on Tuesday and fell 3-2. Manson have struggled against Okanogan recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Cascade's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four matches. As for Manson, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7-1.

Cascade came out on top in a nail-biter against Manson in their previous meeting back in April of 2017, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Kodiaks since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
