Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends Glenbard North's Winning Streak + How To Watch

After a string of six wins, Glenbard North's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to the Geneva Vikings. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Vikings when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Glenbard North ultimately came up short, they really made Geneva work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 27-25.

Despite the loss, Glenbard North still got an impressive performance from Abby Graf, who had four digs and three aces. Graf has been hot for a while, having also posted 14 or more assists the last 13 times she's played.

Glenbard North's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Geneva, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-13 record this season.

Glenbard North has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Willowbrook on the 11th. As for Geneva, they will challenge Wheaton North at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
