Austin Davis Game Report: @ Porter Ridge

For the first time in his career, Austin Davis scored a rushing touchdown on Friday. He rushed for 37 yards and one touchdown, but sadly Cuthbertson still had to take a 42-17 loss at the hands of Porter Ridge. We rated that as his best effort of the season, easily topping his previous best, set on August 29th, when he rushed for 78 yards on only nine carries (Gamescore: 21.5 vs. 15.0333333333333).

Coming up, Davis and Cuthbertson will square off against Piedmont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Davis up against the Panthers' star quarterback Jack Blakeslee. These two stars should make plenty of fireworks, so fans can expect an exciting show. Which one brings home the W? There's only one way to know for sure.
