Legacy Academy came tearing into Saturday's match with 12 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Texico Wolverines as they made off with a 3-0 victory. For the Silverbacks, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Wolverines walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Legacy Academy was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, 25-20.

Leading Legacy Academy to victory were Bella Montano and Jasmine Contreras. Montano had 12 digs, while Contreras had nine digs and one block. That's the most digs Montano has posted since back in September.

Legacy Academy's victory bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Texico, their loss ended a seven-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-8.
