Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Worth County

Worth County lost to Albany back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Tigers walked away with a 41-31 win over the Warriors. While the Tigers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Worth County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brock Healy led the charge by putting up ten points and eight boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb New, who posted 15 points and six rebounds.

The victory keeps Worth County at an undefeated 4-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 51.5 points this season. As for Albany, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-3 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Worth County will take on Mount Ayr in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Albany, they will head out to square off against Stanberry at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
