James Blackwell ran for two touchdowns and
Brandon Wells added two as well as
Bogue Chitto (Miss.) beat
St. Aloysius (Vicksburg, Miss.) 42-14 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Wells in the first quarter, the Bobcats led 21-7 at the half.
Bogue Chitto expanded its lead to 35 points entering the fourth quarter. BC scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by Wells.
With the win the Bobcats extended their winning streak to 10 games. Bogue Chitto defeated the Red Devils 34-28 last week.
BC came into the game allowing 8.1 points per game. The 14 points that the Flashes ended with were above their average of 10.6 coming into the game.
The Bobcats also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 39-21.
Bogue Chitto (10-0) goes up against Dexter in a 1A Region 4 game matchup next week, while St. Aloysius (2-8) locks horns with Mount Olive also in a 1A Region 4 game.
