Basketball Recap: Meadowcreek Takes a Loss

Meadowcreek lost against Norcross back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Meadowcreek Mustangs had to suffer through a 71-21 loss at the hands of the Norcross Blue Devils. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 459th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 38th).

Meadowcreek's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Norcross, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-5 record.

Meadowcreek will venture away from home to challenge Duluth at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Norcross, they will host Berkmar at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Norcross is facing Berkmar at the right time seeing as Berkmar is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
