Volleyball Recap: Pocahontas County Comes Up Short

The Pocahontas County Warriors came up short against the Elkins Tigers on Saturday and fell 2-0.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-8.

Pocahontas County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Elkins, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-11-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Pocahontas County and Elkins will both be playing Tucker County the next time they take the court. The Tigers will host the Mountain Lions at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Warriors will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
