You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Trenton on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the P.K. Yonge Blue Wave out of the water with a 61-23 final score. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 22 points or more this season.

Koi Perry was her usual excellent self, going 7 for 11 on her way to 17 points in addition to seven assists and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Nyima Gillyard, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 boards.

Trenton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in three consecutive games.

Trenton has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for P.K. Yonge, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing The Villages Charter the next time they take the court. Trenton will head out to face The Villages Charter at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, while P.K. Yonge will host them at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
