Softball Recap: Blue Eye Bulldogs vs. Spokane Owls
Blue Eye was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 11-8 to the Spokane Owls. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Owls apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.
Angelina Bettlach made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole four bases while going 4-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla Johnson, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases and two RBI.
Blue Eye's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Spokane, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6.
Blue Eye has already played their next match (against Purdy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Spokane also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Exeter.
