Souhegan and Kingswood are an even 3-3 against one another since May of 2017, but likely not for long. The Sabers will square off against the Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Souhegan comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
On Friday, Souhegan didn't have quite enough to beat Pembroke and fell 11-10. Even though they lost, the Sabers' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.8 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
Lexi Wolsky stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Avery Skelton also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
