Basketball Game Preview: Belmont Bison vs. Meadowdale Lions

The Belmont Bison and the Meadowdale Lions will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, Belmont had to suffer through a 87-33 loss at the hands of Beavercreek. While losing is never fun, the Bison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 658th, while the Beavers are ranked 242nd).

Meanwhile, Meadowdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 47-39 to Shawnee.

Belmont has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season. As for Meadowdale, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.
