Crook County waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They escaped with a win against the Madras White Buffaloes by the margin of a single free throw, 47-46. For the Cowboys, this counts as revenge for the 72-62 victory the White Buffaloes walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Crook County is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.9 points per game. As for Madras, their defeat ended a 13-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-4.
