Volleyball Recap: Cleveland Takes a Loss

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lumberton Raiders. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Raiders when the teams met back in August of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cleveland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Lumberton, their win was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2.

Cleveland has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Little Cypress-Mauriceville on the 21st. As for Lumberton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Cayuga on the 21st.
