Basketball Recap: Cole Brower Key Part of a Team Effort in Green Wave Win

Father Lopez lost to Astronaut back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Father Lopez Green Wave walked away with a 70-58 win over the Astronaut War Eagles.

Father Lopez's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cole Brower led the charge by putting up 25 points and seven boards. Those 25 points gave Brower a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Caden Keller, who posted 18 points.

Father Lopez's record now sits at 6-8. As for Astronaut, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Father Lopez didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 55-53 loss against Spruce Creek on the 10th. Astronaut has also already played their next game, a 63-46 defeat against Merritt Island on the 10th.
