Basketball Recap: Five Straight Home Wins for Meade

Meade won the last time they faced Elkhart and things went their way on Saturday too. The Meade Buffaloes took down the Elkhart Wildcats 52-38. Given the Buffaloes' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the Wildcats are ranked 238th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meade pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Elkhart, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Looking ahead, Meade will look to defend their home court on Friday against South Central at 7:00 p.m. As for Elkhart, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Wildcats face off against the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
