Basketball Recap: Currey Ingram Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Dayspring Academy back in November, Currey Ingram Academy came back down to earth. The Currey Ingram Academy Mustangs were dealt a 61-33 defeat at the hands of the Foundation Christian Academy Falcons on Thursday. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Currey Ingram Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Foundation Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Currey Ingram Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on United Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025. Foundation Christian Academy has already played their next contest, a 50-35 loss against Brown on the 20th.
