Volleyball Game Preview: Soroco Rams vs. Vail Christian Saints + How To Watch

The Soroco Rams will head out to face off against the Vail Christian Saints at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Soroco took a loss when they played away from home back in September, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed two weeks ago. They blew past North Park 3-0. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Soroco didn't let North Park take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-22, 26-24.

Soroco found their leader in sophomore Ellie Carolus, who had 14 digs. Those 14 digs set a new season-high mark for Carolus. Lily Truitt also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Meanwhile, Vail Christian got the win against De Beque on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Vail Christian's got stronger as the match went on, holding De Beque to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-9, 25-8.

Soroco's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Vail Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3.

Soroco suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Vail Christian when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
