Bayside and Salem are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2018, but likely not for long. The Marlins will take on the Sundevils at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Bayside and eight for Salem.

Bayside fell victim to Ocean Lakes and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Dolphins, falling 16-0. Considering the last time the Marlins couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Meanwhile, Salem came up short against Tallwood on Thursday and fell 6-3.

Salem saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Koa Wolfe, who went 2-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Bayside's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Salem, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.
