Softball Recap: Visitation Picks Up 11th Straight Win at Home

Visitation won against Minnehaha Academy last Thursday with nine runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Blazers walked away with a 9-5 win over the St. Anthony Village Huskies. The victory was familiar territory for the Blazers, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Visitation's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for St. Anthony Village, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Visitation will host Breck at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Anthony Village, they will welcome St. Francis at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Fighting Saints will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
