Volleyball Recap: Madison Bulldogs vs. Olpe Eagles
After flying high against Northern Heights last Tuesday, Madison came back down to earth. The Madison Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Olpe Eagles on Saturday. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played on October 1st.
Madison was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Olpe work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-20.
Madison's loss dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Olpe, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-16.
Madison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Olpe, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Marais des Cygnes Valley on the 19th.
