Baseball Recap: Stringer Takes a Loss

Stringer fell victim to Clarkdale and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Devils of the 5-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Stringer's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Clarkdale, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Stringer will host Puckett at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolves have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season. Clarkdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
