Soccer Recap: McFarland Takes a Loss

After flying high against Reedsburg on Tuesday, McFarland came back down to earth. The Spartans fell just short of the Elkhorn Elks by a score of 1-0 on Thursday.

McFarland's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Elkhorn, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. McFarland will square off against Sauk Prairie at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elkhorn, they will take on Union Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
