Baseball Recap: Hamilton Takes a Loss

Hamilton lost against Mason back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Big Blue took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Comets. The Big Blue's loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Jacob Eads was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits.

On the hitting side, Hamilton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Thomas R Schuster, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Mason, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

While Hamilton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
