Ipswich has gone a perfect 4-0 against Lemmon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Tigers will take on the Cowboys in a tournament on Saturday.

It was a proper cat-fight when Ipswich duked it out with Northwestern Area on Thursday. The Tigers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ipswich started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-14, 25-14, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Lemmon had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Irrigators.

Lemmon had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-17, 25-11, 25-14.

Ipswich's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Lemmon, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.

Ipswich beat Lemmon 2-0 in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Cowboys have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
