Baseball Recap: Woodland Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Woodland couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Lincoln Fighting Zebras by a score of 7-6 on Thursday. The Wolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Fighting Zebras earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Cohen Dwyer and Joseph Cadotte did some serious damage despite the final result: Dwyer went 2-for-3 with two runs, while Cadotte went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Woodland's loss dropped their record down to 24-10. As for Lincoln, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Woodland nor Lincoln have any future games scheduled.
