Baseball Recap: Dunnellon Takes a Loss

Dunnellon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the Santa Fe Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 two weeks ago.

Dunnellon saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Roland, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base was Roland's first of the season.

Dunnellon's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Santa Fe, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4.

Dunnellon has already played their next contest (against Lecanto), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Santa Fe, they have already played their next match, a 10-8 loss against Keystone Heights on the 26th.
