Football Preview: Porter Ridge Pirates vs. R-S Central Hilltoppers        
        
		
             Two dominant  backs in  Kisiah Harris and  Karlen Mcentyre are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Porter Ridge Pirates will be staying on the road  on Friday to face off against the R-S Central Hilltoppers at 7:00  p.m. Porter Ridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 33.4  points per game  this season.
 Porter Ridge will head into Friday's  game ready to turn things around: they couldn't quite beat Cuthbertson on Friday, but the three-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 49-point  loss they were dealt  two weeks ago. Porter Ridge fell just short of Cuthbertson by a score of  15-12.
 Although Porter Ridge took the loss, they still got scores from  Emmanuel Chambers and  Rai'Shawn Elmore.
 Meanwhile, R-S Central took their  matchup at home  last Monday with ease, bagging  a  48-20 win over Polk County. The  contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Hilltoppers had established  a  21 point advantage.
  Elmer Littlejohn continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 152 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries, while also throwing for 100 yards and two touchdowns.
 R-S Central wouldn't let Polk County keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. R-S Central can thank  Markus Hooper and  Jacob Hudgins for forcing both of them. Hudgins is also on a roll when it comes to  total tackles, as he's  now  made five or more in the last ten games he's  played dating back to last season.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, R-S Central was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 268  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 166  rushing yards in five consecutive  matches.
 Porter Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for R-S Central, they now  have a winning record of 4-3.
