It was a good run, but Cloverleaf unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a blow against the Norton Panthers, falling 48-21. The Colts lost against the Panthers in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 54-6 score last time.

Cloverleaf's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. As for Norton, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Cloverleaf is set to take on their familiar foe Field at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Norton will face off against rival Woodridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
